iCare Plus was established in 2020 by Godfrey Chinomoma, Andrew Sithole and Muziwani Mtetwa with the objective to address existing resource issues in Southern Africa. The core aim of the organization is to change peoples' perceptions and expose them to opportunities that will eventually improve their standard of living.
Children from poverty-stricken communities fight to get into higher institutions of education to acquire education which would change their prospects, but upon acceptance into these institutions, many are left to fend for themselves, and often, a lack of funding results in some dropping out. This rate is exacerbated by a lack of computer skills which they had no chance to learn earlier on in their education.
By providing access to technology and courses where they can learn key trades and skills, we hand students the tools to improve their circumstances with their own effort and hard work
